Apples are plentiful when the orchard is producing. So what can you do with all these apples? You could make pies of course, but apple crisp is much quicker, easier and you’ll love it! Serve it warm with vanilla ice cream on top. Yum!!
Here’s a great recipe:
Apple Crisp
Apples -cut-up to fill a 9X13″ pan about 3/4 full
Sprinkle on top:
1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
3/4 cup of sugar
Topping – ‘cut’ together until crumbly and pat on top of apples:
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup oatmeal
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
Bake at 350 for 1 hour
